Travelling with Service Animals

Nexus Airlines welcomes service animals on all flights when they are accompanying a guest who requires aid, for example due to a vision or hearing impairment, post-traumatic stress disorder, or other mental condition.

A Service Animal is an animal that has completed accredited training, has been registered to aid a person who has a medical need, and has met the State standards for public access rights.

Nexus Airlines requires the following for carriage of service animals:

  • All animals must wear an ID medallion or service coat.
  • Handlers must carry identification and accreditation documentation.
  • All animals to be clean, well groomed, well behaved, and obedient to the handler.
  • Handlers must supply a suitable restraint for the animal during the flight.
