Frequently Asked Questions

Got a Question?

Welcome to Nexus Airlines! We understand you may have some questions, and we’re here to help make your experience with us as smooth and enjoyable as possible.

Can I reserve a seat?

If you would like to request a specific seat for your flight, please contact Nexus Reservations team. Please note that requests cannot be guaranteed.

Can I change my dates of travel or receive a refund?

This does depend on the type of fare that you have purchased.

If you need to make changes to your flight booking, please contact Nexus Reservations team for assistance.

My Ticket was purchased from a travel agent. Can I change my itinerary online with Nexus?

You will need to contact the travel agent to make any amendments to their booking.

Can I book and pay for my flight at the airport?

You can book online via the Nexus website booking portal. Full payment must be made at the time of booking to confirm tickets. Seats will not be held without full payment. If you wish to book directly with us, please contact the Nexus Reservations team.

Can I book special assistance for the flight?

Yes, please contact Nexus Reservations if you require any special assistance for your flight.

What is the NexusGO program?

Book a flight with Nexus Airlines and both the departing and arrival ports will both receive 1 NexusGO point. 1 NexusGO point equates to $1.00. NexusGO points are redeemable on sponsorship opportunities for each corresponding town. Nexus Airlines will host a form for sponsorship enquiries for community and charity groups on their website, and will also reach out seeking new sponsorship opportunities. Nexus Airlines will form a NexusGO subcommittee involving key staff and external stakeholders to decide on expenditure of funds for each community. For flights that include Perth as a departure or arrival point, both NexusGO points will be accrued by the regional town, not Perth.

What happens if the weather is unsuitable for flight?

Whilst delay and cancellation is rare, should a flight need to be cancelled or delayed due to weather, all passengers will be advised of the delay and/or re-scheduled on another flight.

What time does check in open/close?

Check-In opens 1.5hrs prior to flight departure and closes 30mins before departure.

Which terminal will I fly from?

You can find this information on your flight booking confirmation.

Can I travel with an infant?

Yes, for ticketing purposes and infant is a child who has not yet reached their 2nd birthday at the time of travel. Infants are not allocated a seat, as they are carried on the adult’s lap. If one adult accompanies 2 or more infants, the second infant must occupy a seat and be able to sit upright without assistance.

Can I bring my baby's stroller?

An infant travelling free of charge is not allocated a luggage allowance; additional luggage charges will apply for car seats and strollers. Collapsible strollers are not able to be carried in the aircraft cabin and must be checked in.

What should I do if I encounter an issue or error whilst making my booking online?

Please contact Nexus Reservations team.

What if I have stops/transits in my journey?

If your final destination has a short transit stop on the way, you will remain on board the aircraft.
