We were proud to support BlakList Agency on their inspiring journey to showcase their talent in Darwin for the prestigious Country to Couture event on the 5th August 2025.

BlakList Agency’s Indigenous Fashion Project is more than just a runway moment – it’s a movement. It celebrates the rich cultural heritage, artistry, and storytelling of First Nations designers and models. This year, the project took center stage at Country to Couture, a vibrant showcase that merges contemporary fashion with traditional Indigenous culture.

Country to Couture is a vibrant fusion of First Nations fashion, textiles, and art, and an electrifying celebration of creativity from across Australia. This dynamic event showcases the brilliance of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander designers, blending contemporary style with deep cultural storytelling.

More than just a runway show, Country to Couture is a platform for sharing knowledge, heritage, and innovation. It highlights the flourishing textile design movement emerging from remote Indigenous communities and has proudly run alongside the Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair (DAAF) since 2016.

Getting to the runway is no small feat. Behind every spotlight moment is a network of support, and we were honored to be part of that network. By supporting Blaklist with flights to Darwin, we helped ensure their models could participate fully in the event, bringing their unique presence and energy to the national stage.
