NexusGO: Supporting CORE to Link Education to Industry.

18 November 2025

Nexus Airlines believes that regional connectivity goes beyond flight paths, it’s about creating opportunities. That’s why we’re proud to support the CoRE Learning Foundation’s mission to build sustainable, STEM-educated workforces in regional WA.

NexusGO Flight Support Advances CoRE’s Mission by:

  • Providing access for educators to fly through the region to schools with STEM education

The Centre of Resource Excellence (CoRE) Learning Foundation delivers industry-connected STEM education through hands-on, project-based learning. They upskill educators, engage students with real-world experiences, and connect classrooms to careers in resources, energy, and beyond. With a strong focus on regional and remote inclusion, CoRE builds pathways from education to employment, equipping students with the skills for Australia’s future workforce.

The CoRE Learning Model is implemented in students’ weekly timetables, with the expectation that they work both independently and collaboratively to manage their time and organise the completion of their projects.

Currently, CoRE supports 17 schools, 1,300 plus students, 56 educators and has over 150 alumni within the industry. Companies such as BHP, PLS, Bellevue Gold, and now Nexus Airlines, support CoRE to realise the full potential of students to create and thrive in the future economy.

Through our Nexus GO scheme, we aim to assist with the transition from education to careers. From engineers to pilots, our team is excited to help bridge the gap, sharing our knowledge about the world of aviation as well as offering flight support for other career opportunities.

To support CoRE or bring the CoRE Learning Model into your classroom, you can reach out via their contact form or email: info@corefoundation.com.au.
